Expert services for students with learning disabilities.

Our educational therapists and specialists are trained to work with students with a wide range of diagnosed learning disabilities. Experienced in interpreting neuropsychological assessments, they implement and prioritize specific educational recommendations accordingly. Areas of expertise and service include:

  • Elementary to young adult learners
  • Specific remedial programming for reading, writing, and math
  • Executive Function skill building
  • Foundational skill building within the context of assigned schoolwork
  • Lesson plans and activities using outside curriculum
  • Informal assessments to set academic goals and programs
  • School year and intensive summer remediation
  • Attendance at IEP and other team meetings
  • Collaboration with allied professionals

Educational Therapists & Specialists: What's the Difference?

Educational Specialists

Our specialists have formal training in a variety of remedial programs for targeted interventions and/or a master's degree in education, special education, psychology, or a related field. 

Educational Therapists

Our educational therapists are specialists who have earned an additional degree or certification from a recognized educational therapy program. 

Our child has ADHD and struggles with Executive Functioning. Her educational therapist helped her find ways to organize and stay on top of homework. This has been especially helpful during the pandemic when the burden of structure and organization has fallen on the students. We are so grateful that we found Hayutin! Hayutin is not just a tutoring company. Hayutin has been a lifeline not only for our child but for us, as well.

When we started with Hayutin, we were asked about our child and her struggles. The Hayutin admin team really did a deep dive into WHAT our child needed.  Our daughter's educational therapist even acted as an advocate at her school 504 Meeting. We are provided with weekly progress updates so we are able to stay in the loop. Hayutin has ended our homework battles with our child, and helped heal our relationship. It has been worth every penny!

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thank you for all the work that you did with Khay. The Educational Specialist got him farther from September to January than his school did in two years. Khay did not fully know the alphabet and lacked phonemic awareness when he started with Hayutin. He had no tricks to identify a B or D, which he learned from her. The Educational Specialist kept a loving yet firm way of working with him, allowed him breaks, and produced out-of-the-box thinking to get him to participate even when he was angry, irritable, and resistant.
