Forough Azimi
Director
Forough worked as an education specialist with Hayutin for 1.5 years before transitioning to the Director position. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has worked in the education field ever since. With over a decade of experience supporting students of all ages with a variety of learning needs, Forough is particularly passionate about using literacy intervention to introduce students to the magic of reading. Her students quickly learn that there are many words that aren’t pronounced the way they’re written, like Forough’s name which is pronounced ‘FUH-rook’! She is trained in multiple Lindamood-Bell programs and in the Wilson Reading System, which she utilizes to help students reach their goals. Forough loves working with our team of educators to create individualized, effective learning solutions for Hayutin students.
In her free time, Forough enjoys discovering new hiking trails and recipes, reading novels, solving crossword puzzles, and gardening.
