ISEE Test Prep Los Angeles | Online ISEE Test Prep
Interested in ISEE prep?
Our thorough ISEE curriculum undergoes yearly updates to reflect any modifications to the assessment. Subject matter, breadth, and overall difficulty across all three tiers of the test remain a central priority. Every child gets an individualized pathway and schedule with thoughtfully selected resources. Because students must be ready for computer-based assessment, we emphasize digital tools to replicate a virtual testing environment.
We give students a thorough introduction to the assessment's subjects and structure, with an emphasis on foundational strategies and aptitude development. Given how competitive private day school enrollment has grown, we advise families to explore a broad range of school possibilities. Regardless of results, students who finish prep with Hayutin walk away with meaningful abilities in timed essay composition, analytical reading, mathematics, and test taking strategies.
Why Hayutin?
We believe achievement on standardized assessments starts with deliberate scheduling. That's why we advise students to dedicate 12–16 weeks of concentrated effort ahead of their first sitting. That said, we develop individualized plans suited to any timeframe. Some families choose to start in the spring to allow more time for math instruction.
Here's what to expect from our program:
- Schedule: Students typically meet with their ISEE tutor once per week for 1.5 hours and complete an additional 1.5-2 hours of homework between sessions.
- Practice Exams: An initial practice exam helps map out a personalized study timeline for peak performance. 4-6 weeks prior to the exam, your child will sit a second practice exam to refine the approach for the final stretch.
- Customized Programs: We tailor our approach to fit individual schedules and budgets.
- Skill Building & Strategies: Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the ISEE format, question types, and proven strategies to maximize scores.
- Learning Differences Expertise: Our educators are well-equipped to support students who have testing accommodations for the ISEE.
Test Dates
Students are eligible to sit for the ISEE up to three times, with only one sitting allowed per testing window (Fall: August – November, Winter: December – March, and Spring: April – July).
Guidance varies considerably based on the child and the start of their preparation, though we typically advise one or two sittings, in the fall and/or winter windows. The spring window is generally only applicable to families pursuing enrollment outside of standard admissions cycles.
