Hunja Koimburi, M.A.
Director
Hunja Koimburi graduated from University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa with a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Law. He went on to earn his Master of International Law and Economics from University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa before moving to the United States. Being a third generation teacher in his family, he has always had a passion for teaching and education. As a result, Hunja has over a decade of experience working with students 1:1 and in small groups as well as working with numerous students with varied profiles and learning differences. In his previous role as an Associate Director at Lindamood-Bell, Hunja was trained in a number of programs, including Seeing Stars, Visualizing and Verbalizing, On Cloud Nine and Talkies. As a Director at Hayutin, Hunja looks forward to working with parents and students to find helpful, sustainable solutions to their needs.
In his free time, Hunja enjoys supporting his favorite soccer team Liverpool (and trying to explain the offside rule to anyone who will listen), reading, watching Disney movies with his daughter, following his son on long meandering walks around USC and laughing about life while doing Paint by Numbers projects with his wife.
