Why did I wait so long to join the podcast movement?  

As a host, it turns out you get to have deep dive conversations with engaging, influential people.  

Guests with important and often galvanizing opinions who aren’t afraid to share their views.  

Even unpopular, dangerous ideas that might make folks uncomfortable.

Betsy Brown Braun is a powerful, leading voice in child development and parenting education.  We talk pandemic, and she doesn’t hold back on what we can do right now to support our children more proactively--and then get out of their way.

Joe Dilley addresses the perils of parenting in the digital age with solutions for the screentime dilemma.  The tech struggle is real.  Essential listening for anyone tempted to throw their family’s devices into the nearest body of water.

Keith Harris is the rogue historian for a reason.  We talk monuments, commemoration and our own dangerous past and present in the battle over Civil War memory.  Prepare to take a side.

Rita Eichenstein reminds us we’re not acute failures as parents just because our kids struggle in unpredictable ways.  Often it’s our own expectations that need the most work.  It’s time to recalibrate.

Joe McGovern talks about his seminal road trip across our country in search of common political ground.  Who sleeps in a van in a Wal-Mart parking lot in search of universal American truths?  Fearless Joe is that kind of filmmaker.
