This Summer Doesn’t Have To Be A Bummer
May 29th, 2020
Camps are closed. Vacation plans are postponed. How are we supposed to keep our kids engaged, much less balanced?
While this summer promises to look and feel different than any other, it’s a vital time to reconnect, recharge and refresh.
We’ve worked hard to bring educational offerings both deep and wide for a stimulating and satisfying next few months. Our brief menu of summer services is designed to inspire creativity, foster socialization, and spark meaningful learning through exploration.
The opportunity for customized, flexible programming in the summer has never held more possibility. Many of our students are old enough to blaze their own paths of academic enrichment, while others need our guidance. For all learners, this is a critical time for growth, balance and creativity. Deep learning should be fun. Plus you still deserve a break, and we can help with that.
Have a look at our options. Jot down some of your own. Let’s talk!
Take your child on an adventure to The Met, NASA, Smithsonian Learning Lab and more. Check out Virtual Field Trips for more options. We are offering a carefully curated series for rising 3rd-5th graders, which will include a pre-trip inquiry, guided exploration and a post discussion or activity.
Keep your child entertained, combat summer slide, and ensure opportunities for socialization simultaneously! Our June Book Clubs are free and will be offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3pm.
Engage your child in an enriching, personalized project while building targeted skills in areas like research, reading, writing and STEAM. Students will participate in a multimedia, cross-curricular exploration of one of their passions and create a culminating project.
